- In April 1996, founder, current president and CEO, Jerry Jendusa, filed and secured SBA loan for the establishment of EMTEQ. Production began in his Wind Lake, WI basement
- Low smoke, zero halogen PFlex and RF Connectors were developed and introduced under the EMTEQ name to the marketplace
- Later that year, Subchapter S Corporation paperwork was filed
- Fall of 1996, EMTEQ moved business to Muskego, WI facility
- First line of equipment was developed
- First deliverables were shipped to Cannard Aerospace

- EMTEQ was awarded their first airframe program Bombardier Dash 8 for delivery of coax cables and connectors

- EMTEQ received Future Top 50 Award from Milwaukee Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce (MMAC) Council of Small Business Executives (COSBE) for Southeast Wisconsin. This is the first award received for three consecutive years (1999, 2000 and 2001)

- International representatives in Europe and Israel are established
- EMTEQ receives the 2000 Manufacturer of the Year Award from the State of Wisconsin

- Took occupancy on entire building of Enterprise Drive location in Muskego, WI
- Acquired Avitas Engineering of Florida. Located in Miramar, Florida the EMTEQ Florida office specializes in design, certification and consulting services for the commercial retrofit aviation markets and owns more than 100 STCs for major airframe OEM models.
- Began Lighting and Cabin Systems business; began leasing a 6,400 sq. ft. facility to accommodate business

- EMTEQ secured Partnership for Safety Plan with the FAA, enabling us to provide a fast-track to completing STC projects with minimal schedule implications. It is also a testament to EMTEQ's strong, proven relationship with our ACO and our ability to delight our customers with prompt, accurate certification projects requiring FAA STC and PMA.
2005

- EMTEQ moved its headquarter operation to a 57,000 square foot state-of-the-art, PMA and AS9100 approved facility in New Berlin, Wisconsin
- Company received 2005 Manufacturer of the Year Award from key customer, LiveTV

- In March 2007, Flight Components AG, of Bachenbulach Switzerland who specializes in exterior LED Lighting solutions, was acquired by EMTEQ, Inc.
- EMTEQ was granted its Air Agency Certificate E3TR548Y by the FAA in November and was authorized to issue FAA repair forms on qualified lighting and avionics-related products and equipment.
2008
- EMTEQ received European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Certification/Approval in early April 2008, allowing the company the ability to repair both FAA and EASA approved aviation equipment and provide a more well-rounded service to all current and future customers
- Aero Consulting Services Ltd. (ACS) and Northern Aero Industries Ltd. (NAI), known as ACS-NAI, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada become part of EMTEQ. ACS-NAI specializes in OEM and after-market structural and avionic design, interior certification, engineering, fabrication and technical support
- EMTEQ was named the 2008 AEA Associate Member of the Year and was recognized for our service and support to the industry
- EMTEQ has been recognized as one of the Top Preferred Suppliers for 2008 by Rockwell Collins

- EMTEQ, Inc. achieved full AS9100 recertification, now valid through May 2012.
- Company received Boeing Performance Excellence Award by maintaining Gold composite performance rating with Boeing for 12 months.
2010

- January 1, 2010 - Flight Components AG changed its name to EMTEQ Europe GmbH.
- Company received Learjet 85 Best Overall Performance Award as a result of the hard work and commitment EMTEQ demonstrated through the Learjet 85 production program.
- November 2010 - To accomodate growth, EMTEQ do Brasil moved into a new, larger, state-of-the-art engineering facility.
