The Assembler performs assembly work to manufacture Electrical or Mechanical products in a cost effective and timely manner while fulfilling quality standards and customer expectations.

• Have the ability to review drawings, blueprints and schematics prior to performing assembly work and to double check that correct parts or materials have been pulled for assembly operations.
• Build products for customers per specification and within tolerances.
• Properly documents production work orders and work-in-process

• Cut and measures wire or cable to ensure all wires will fit and operate properly.
• Prepare wire or cable for next process (strip insulation, forming  jumper wires, tinning wires, add solder sleeves, bud splices and etc…)
• Perform soldering as required by production requirements and product specifications.
• Clean completed solder areas with alcohol to remove debris and excess solder.
• Crimp pin/sockets on to the wires or cable and assembly into connector as required. 
• Applies heat shrinks, sleeving and labels per product specifications and also spot tying the assembly where required.  

• Perform complex electro-mechanical assembly work.
• Experience with small hand tools a must with some experience using semi-automated equipment.
• Solder and assemble components.
• Use precision measuring devices to ensure accuracy.
• Test assembly after assembling.
• Good understand of the functional operation of the items assembled as well as finished product

• Be able to do both Electrical and Mechanical assembly to some degree.

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Develops and maintains customer relationships and is responsible for sales, customer relations and customer satisfaction to secure new customers and maintain existing customer base. Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential and pricing. Proposes, designs, and executes sales, business and marketing plans to achieve maximum sales volume potential. Assist with preparation and deliver of sales presentations, catalogues, web sites and print advertisements and data sheets. Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive offerings.

• Develop yearly sales plan as well as assist with Business Unit strategic planning based on market and product mix desired.
• Review and analyze quotations, bids and sales to ensure that we are on target for the budgeted yearly sales.
• Achieve gross margins (and contribution margin) for the product mix per yearly sales plan and budget.
• Develop, communicate and implement 3-5 years long term planning.    
• Semi-annual review of business plan and preparation of sales planning meeting.

• Implement the initiatives as identified in the Business Plan and other initiatives.
• Constantly evaluating key-account forecasting and potential.
